2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
“You are a new creation in Christ Jesus”
The Greek word for the word “new” in the verse is καινός. – Kainos. It’s an adjective which means:
1. recently made, fresh, recent, unused, unworn.
2.of uncertain affinity; new (especially in freshness)
So another way to think about it is that you are new and fresh when you are in Jesus. You are a new creation!
Truth: When I accepted Christ, He made me a new creation. The old things have passed away and ALL things have become new!
Declaration: I am a new creation in Christ Jesus!
