“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

Psalm 139:14 NKJV

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”

You my friend, are fearfully and wonderfully made. He made you just the way he wanted you and took great care. You are a masterpiece and a work of art!

The Hebrew root word for “wonderfully” is pâlâh. It means: put a difference, show marvelous, separate, set apart, sever, make wonderfully.

It really paints the picture of what he thought about you as he was creating you. He made you unique and special. I love that part where it says to “show marvelous”. He is proud of His creation! He is proud of how He made you! You are His marvelous masterpiece!

I know that the world says that we are too “fill in the blank”. Other times, it says that we will never be good enough. It’s true that we may feel like that sometimes. That’s not the truth though!

He says that we are made new in Jesus and we are marvelous! We are now able to do everything He has planned for us.

Declaration: I am God’s masterpiece. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I have been made anew in Jesus Christ, so I can do the good things He has planned for me.

Prayer: Lord thank you for making me the way that you did. Your works are marvelous! Help me see myself the way that you see me. I come out of agreement with any lie that says that I am less than how you made me. I choose to believe the truth of your word. Heal any part of me that has been hurt by the lies. Thank you for making me the way that I am. Amen.
